Discount computers have just celebrated their 25th year in business and I have been a loyal customer for most of them. I proudly built my own laptop at one of their classes and have depended on them for countless upgrades and new built computers. I have confidently recommended them to friends and neighbors. They are knowledgeable and reliable in this fast paced constantly changing field of computers. In the world of computers, they don't come any better.

Discount Computers built an amazing custom laptop for me that has lasted for many years. It is by far the best computer I have ever owned. They helped me get it set up and trained me on how to best maintain the virus software. They have also been able to save data on our office computers that have crashed on occasion. The staff is very friendly, and I gladly give them my recommendation.

Discount Computers is my "go to" computer store and support. Over the past 10 years, Discount Computers has custom constructed several computers for my wife and myself to our great satisfaction. These machines have been extremely reliable and trouble free, noticeably more so than computers we had purchased previously off the Internet and in "big box" stores. Very important for us because we use our computers for hours every day. The free instructions and post sale support have been extraordinary as well. It is no surprise Doug and Amelia have been in business for over 25 years. They long ago earned our trust.

Liz W. Discount Computers in Sarasota is the best place I have ever bought a computer and gotten help with it afterwards. I just bought my second computer there and am very happy with it. I have also gotten great help with a sit-down tutorial at the store and will be back for more. I bought my first computer from Doug and Amelia when I had an emergency; they helped me at the last minute to get a brand new computer which I had for over five years until I decided to upgrade. Whenever I have had a question, they are there on the other end of the phone to help. I am very grateful to everyone there for being such a wonderful business. Thank you!!

I have bought 3 computers from Discount Computers since 1999. They spend quite of bit of time each and every time to get me the correct computer to fit my own personal needs. Their service to me has ALWAYS been excellent and outstanding! The free unlimited one on one classes are a great perk, I have used them for all my problems and questions. They are always available for any questions I have, and are always patient, helpful and informative. I have recommended Discount Computers to many of my friends who had terrible luck with the geek computer guys. I have been thanked over and over for my recommendation. If you are looking for a great computer at a reasonable price, and need ANY type of computer training, from beginner to advanced, I highly recommend Doug and his staff at Discount Computers!

We have been a customer of Discount Computers for many years. The service is excellent and lasts for as long as we own the computer. Many times I have gone for personal free instructions or just run into the store with a problem I couldn't solve. Jim, Neal, Doug & Amelia immediately assisted me.Well worth the price of the computer for the service given.

I just purchased a new laptop from Amelia, Doug and Jack - I absolutely LOVED the customer service from the moment I set foot in their store. I am so happy with my laptop, and their training has been exceptional. Also, when I've had minor issues, I call them and they can remotely fix or help me to save me a trip to the store. I will continue to need them for years to come I'm sure, and I have peace of mind knowing they've been in business for 30 years and are only 10 minutes away from my home in Sarasota, FL. I really want to give a shout-out to Doug and his staff at Discount Computers. They custom built me the laptop of my dreams about 2 years ago. Since then, they continue to offer me personalized support for any upgrades, questions, or problems that occasionally arise. Doug is amazing and brilliant and a pleasure to work with. This is one of those amazingly small family businesses that offer personalized support and services that we must support and appreciate, or they will be gone. I honestly dont believe I would have received a better product or service at any "big box" retailer... most definitely not! Stop in and ask for Doug if you're interested in building an affordable computer system based on your individual needs with a guarantee of top-notch personalized support. Support small businesses, or they will dissappear!

I had multiple computers and they always took excellent care of them. Would recommend them 100%> Also, I just had another awesome desktop computer built by Doug and Amelia. High knowledge and quality. They helped me get the desktop right for my needs. An additional service they provide is the orientation to familiarize me with my new computer and windows. That was very helpful. If I ever need help, they are always there to help and back me up. They are local business owners and I can depend on them because when I call or go to their location , they are the ones who will be there and not someone new. They will answer all questions and solve all situations. AND ... They are awesome people!

Doug and Amelia went above and beyond to help build a custom PC for our daughter, who is studying virtual reality at Ringling College. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional.
